Pictures from a recent trip
Hello again everyone. I added some new pictures of the kids and sights from our recent trip to Duluth. I’ve been going to Duluth since I was a little kid, and I still never get tired of visiting the city. I liked it so much, that I spent two years living there while I went to college at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. There’s plenty to see and do there, even in the winter time. This time around we just visited one of the children’s favorite locations, the Great Lakes Aquarium.
Even if you don’t find time to visit the aquarium, you should at list visti the Canal Park area and see the the Lake Superior Marine Museum, located right next to the bridge. It’s free and well worth the visit. Besides, you might actually catch a ship entering or leaving the harbor (at least during the spring, summer, or fall).
From Memorial day to Labor day, you can stop over and tour the retired ore carrier William A Irvin, the recently retired Coast Guard cutter Sundew, or the retired tug boat Lake Superior. All are worth the tour. For more information, go their website.
