Old vs. New
For part of Adya’s Brownie requirements, she needed to take a walking tour of Jordan and see some historic buildings and learn about them. So we started off by a visit to the Jordan Public Library and found a book on Jordan’s history written in 1975 by the editor of our local newspaper, the Jordan Independent. It included several photos of buildings in town as the apeared in the 1890’s.
Using my new trusty new Nikon D70, Adya and I tried to recreate some of the old photographs. Our results are below. Just click on the the thumbnails to see bigger versions of the pictures.
