We have been remodeling Dmitri’s room recently. Dmitri’s been asking for a theme that shows off the solar system and space exploration, so we convinced a friend of the family who specializes in interior design to help. Jessi and I have been doing the easy work. For starters, I took down the wallpaper and Jessi repainted the room.

The base color of space we made a grey color, since black would have made the room too dark. Jessi came up with the idea of starting with the sun at Dmitri’s door and moving through the solar system throughout his room. I picked the space ships that show up in the solar system. They include space ships from (in no particular order) Project Apollo, Skylab, Voyager, and others. There’s a full set of pictures in the New House Gallery, but here’s a few to wet your appetite.
