Wilbert has acquired a new skill in the past few weeks. For the past almost year, we’ve been feeding Wilbert in the mornings when we get up. He is a very active kitten, and seems to need it. Since we only feed the other cats once a day, he’s fed by locking him up in the bathroom, where he races through his entire bowl of food in just a few minutes. Lately, however, he seems to think we aren’t moving fast enough in the morning. He has taken to pulling the cord on the window blinds. Of course this means that the blinds go up in the room. He’s figured out that by making the room brighter, we’ll get up and scold him at the very least. Usually however, we’ll get up and feed him, because if we don’t he’ll just keep pulling the blinds up. Smart little cat….
